    Good to know

    Common questions

Do I have to use the shop my insurance company recommends?

No. In Minnesota you have the right to choose who repairs your vehicle. Your insurer can recommend a shop, but the decision is yours, and choosing us does not change your coverage or your deductible.

How much does an estimate cost?

Nothing. Estimates are free and there is no obligation to book the repair with us. You can walk in during business hours or send photos through the form on this site.

How long will my repair take?

A bumper scuff can be same-day. A structural repair with parts on order can run one to two weeks. We give you a realistic date when you drop the vehicle off and we call you if anything changes — you should never have to chase us for an update.

Will you work with my insurance company?

Yes, we work with all major carriers. We write the estimate, submit it, negotiate supplements if hidden damage turns up once the panels come off, and bill your insurer directly where possible.

What if you find more damage after the teardown?

That is very common — a lot of collision damage hides behind the bumper cover or inside the structure. We document it, photograph it, and submit a supplement to your insurer. We do not start extra work without approval.

    Do you guarantee your work?

We stand behind our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle, and our paint carries a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and application. Normal wear, rust from new damage, and other shops’ repairs are not covered.

Can I get a rental car while mine is being repaired?

If your policy includes rental coverage, we will coordinate the timing so your rental starts the day the work starts rather than the day the claim opens. Call us before you book anything and we will save you the extra rental days.

    Do you use OEM parts?

We use OEM parts whenever your policy pays for them and we will tell you plainly when your insurer has specified aftermarket or recycled parts instead. You always get to see the parts list before we order.
